Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham Cranbrook. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, ensuring they have the necessary training, resources, and support to excel in their roles.
- Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, perform same duties as workers supervised, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Operations Management: Coordinate, assign, and review work, requisition materials and supplies, and maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Staff Development: Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills to succeed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Work Setting: Urban area, hotel, motel, or resort.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, requiring physical stamina and endurance.
- Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and satisfaction.
- Dependability: Be dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, including communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
