Hotel Managing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Super 8 by Wyndham Cranbrook. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs, respond to guest complaints, and ensure that all guest requests are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations: Coordinate and assign work tasks, maintain the operation of computer systems and equipment, and arrange for repairs to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff members in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hotel industry.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, hotel, motel, resort.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, team player.
