Job Title: Academic Assistant - Teaching Assistant for Europe in the 20th Century
Location: Downtown Toronto, St. George Campus
Salary: Approximately $6,812 per course (based on 130 hours at $52.26 per hour plus 4% vacation pay)
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an Academic Assistant - Teaching Assistant for Europe in the 20th Century.
About the Course:
The course will explore the evolution of European politics, culture, and society from 1914: the two world wars, Fascism and Nazism, the post-1945 reconstruction, and the movement towards European integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead tutorials and facilitate discussions
- Grade assignments and exams
- Consult with supervisor and students
- Invigilate final exams
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum M.A. in History required; good knowledge of subject matter is essential. Previous experience or training with Quercus is an asset.
