  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including cashiers, grocery clerks and shelf stockers, and retail salespersons and sales clerks.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Work under pressure to meet sales targets and customer expectations.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate financial records and inventory management.
