Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at Disability Solutions. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our networks and assets from sophisticated cyber threats.

You will work hands-on with enterprise security solutions, drive resolution of complex security and technical issues, participate in incident response activities, and provide information security consulting to projects and initiatives.

This is a 12-month, full-time contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. You can expect a salary range of $110,000-$140,000, plus competitive performance bonuses and incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of security and system problems to resolution.
  • Prioritize and manage the remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with and provide information security consulting to projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with implementation efforts of security projects and initiatives.
  • Forward-thinking to identify upcoming trends and security best practices on the network.
  • Perform security reviews to ensure enterprise security standards are in place.
  • Analyze performance trends to optimize system performance.
  • Leverage automation to improve operations efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in Information Security or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong background in Windows server administration, virtualization technologies, and Active Directory management.
  • Experience with next-generation firewall, endpoint detection response, and endpoint management solutions.
  • Experience with anti-malware, email protection, and anti-spam solutions.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Monitoring, log aggregation, and correlation solutions.
  • Well-versed in Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems and enterprise solutions.
  • Knowledge of security concepts behind the authentication, authorization, and auditing (AAA) framework.
  • Knowledge of network architecture, protocols, and standards.
  • Knowledge of web application security and secure development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, O365, Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Knowledge of service management frameworks (ITIL).
  • Certifications from ISC2, SANS GIAC, or Offensive Security are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel in a cross-functional setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
