Traffic Control Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Control Person to join our team in several locations across New Brunswick. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic at our temporary workplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulate road traffic to maintain a safe environment for workers and motorists;
- Utilize a Stop/Slow paddle to indicate traffic flow and ensure public safety;
- Maintain open communication with colleagues to coordinate traffic management;
- Report any safety concerns or incidents related to traffic movement;
- Provide assistance to pedestrians crossing work areas;
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures;
- Protect the interests of the company and promote a safe work environment;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) accreditation or willingness to obtain;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends;
- Reliability and punctuality;
- Willingness to learn construction site protocols and rules;
- Teamwork and effective communication skills;
- Ability to operate required equipment safely and responsibly;
- Compliance with all safety policies and procedures;
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
