We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiation equipment, including computed tomography, mammography, and angiography.
- Operate and maintain radiation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Medical Radiologic Technology diploma (MRT) or equivalent.
- Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan.
- Valid driver's license, where required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
