About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at SOUTH HILL MEDICAL CLINIC INC. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough examinations, and developing personalized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and review medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals
- Conduct thorough examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment
- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Perform routine surgery and assist in more complex procedures
- Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care
- Advise patients on healthcare and wellness
- Coordinate or manage primary patient care
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
- Provide emergency care
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Work setting: General office, private practice, or clinic
