Pharmacy Technician Role at Sinai Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sinai Health, a leading healthcare organization in Ontario.

About the Role:

  • This is a dynamic and challenging position that involves providing technical support to our pharmacy department.
  • You will be responsible for various tasks including unit-dose or traditional dispensing, medication order entry, medication cart refill, ward stock replenishment, inventory management, sterile products preparation, manufacturing, and pre-packaging.
  • In addition to these duties, you will also be expected to contribute to continuous quality improvement and workload measurement.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Pharmacy Technician from a Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) accredited college.
  • Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacy (OCP).
  • A minimum of 1 year related hospital experience, with 3 years' experience preferred.
  • Sound working knowledge of computer applications such as Meditech.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes extended health and dental coverage, life insurance, and retirement savings plan.
