Technical Product Manager (ML/NLP)

Thomson Reuters Labs is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the vision and execution for one of the CoCounsel Machine Learning teams. This individual will product manage for a cross-functional team of technical professionals, including applied scientists and research engineers.

CoCounsel is Thomson Reuters' legal AI assistant, designed to facilitate complex and tedious workflows of legal professionals from research to contract drafting and review. The legal technology team is focused on developing cutting-edge document review and drafting skills to serve transactional and litigation use cases.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will:

  • Define and socialize product Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and their corresponding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assemble technical product vision, roadmaps, define epics and features, collect and review user feedback, refine user requirements, prioritize, drive execution, and adjust delivery schedules as needed.
  • Ensure alignment with partnering product, engineering, content, design, and subject matter expert teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to partner product teams during development phases.
  • Develop a clear technical vision and product strategy that aligns with business objectives and user needs.
  • Establish a strong partnership with Product Manager peers and develop overall product requirements.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
  • Champion agile methodologies and facilitate cross-functional meetings.

About You

You're a fit for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, machine learning, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven track record in technical product development, with a focus on applied AI research and end-to-end delivery of AI-driven products.
  • Experience with agile project management and scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, utilizing data and metrics to inform decisions.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
