Project Coordinator - Signage and Wayfinding

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of our wayfinding and design projects across Canada. Based in our Vancouver office, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our clients' visions to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage project communication, responding to client and vendor inquiries, issuing site instructions, change notices, and coordinating RFIs
  • Build strong partnerships with signage production and installation vendors, overseeing sample and shop drawing reviews, attending site meetings, and conducting thorough deficiency assessments
  • Contribute to accurate project budgeting and estimating throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Conduct site and needs assessments to inform project implementation strategies
  • Modify existing design drawings and produce additional documentation while upholding the established design intent
  • Develop and refine location plan and message schedules for comprehensive wayfinding programs
  • Collaborate with construction, architectural, and consultant teams, as well as internal Cygnus staff, ensuring seamless project execution
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 3+ years in a construction project management role or working with multi-consultant design teams
  • Degree/diploma from a recognized university or college in graphic design, interior design, industrial design, architecture, or a related design field
  • Direct experience or formal training in the signage & wayfinding industry is preferred
  • Strong eye for visual and industrial design, creative problem-solving, and an appreciation for exceptional user experiences
  • Exemplary project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication
Compensation and Benefits

$55,000 - $75,000 CAD (commensurate with experience)

Supplementary health and dental benefits after a 3-month probationary period
