We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to join our team as the Director, Health Safety Environment Community (HSEC) at Svante.

Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company dedicated to making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality. As the Director, HSEC, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining an environmental health and safety program that ensures compliance with federal state provincial and local regulations.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive HSEC plan that aligns with company safety core values and business goals
  • Leveraging your expertise to operationalize the HSEC plan through leading the HSEC team and all programs processes policy and other means in service of a culture of safety as everyone's responsibility
  • Providing HSEC leadership training and operational support to all levels of the organization and across all functional groups
  • Maintaining excellent relationships across all departments to ensure effectiveness of the HSEC plan listening to customer needs and building leader capabilities to ensure safe work practices are in place throughout the organization

The ideal candidate will have + years experience as a Senior Leader in HSEC with - years experience in manufacturing laboratory construction or engineering technology environments. You will also have education and certifications in HSEC that ensure implementation of HSEC best practices culture of safety as everyone's responsibility and compliance in every jurisdiction where Svante operates.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of Svante. The estimated salary for this position is $125000 - 150000 per year based on location and experience.
