Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary
The Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist is a key member of the Canucks Sports & Entertainment team, responsible for managing and maintaining the company's technology infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure the stability and availability of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation
Design, implement, and administer IT infrastructure to support current and future business requirements, including physical and cloud compute/storage environments, network and communication infrastructure, and endpoint device configuration.
Backup and RecoveryOversee and maintain backup tools, topology, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
Infrastructure MaintenanceImplement and support maintenance and upgrades of system infrastructure, including Host hardware, SAN technologies, SQL, VMWare, Hyper-V, and cloud technologies.
Monitoring and TroubleshootingPerform regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and processes for service level integrity and performance.
Capacity PlanningIdentify and resolve production capacity, contention, resource, and application deficiencies to ensure optimal system performance.
Security and ComplianceAssist in the development of security recommendations and manage security information priorities to maintain a secure IT environment.
Technical SupportAct as tier 2/3 technical support to the Service Desk and support Microsoft client O365 services.
On-Call SupportProvide on-call support and work off hours in a 24x7 production support environment as required.
Requirements
- Education
Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technology-related field.
ExperienceAt least five years of experience in a related System Administrator role.
Technical SkillsAdvanced knowledge and hands-on experience of Microsoft Windows Server technologies, Office 365, Azure infrastructure, Microsoft Intune, and Active Directory Entra ID.
Soft SkillsProactive and innovative mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and a team player attitude.
