Job Title: Business Development Officer - Industrial and Commercial Investment

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Phoenix Marketing Solutions Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policies, supervising staff, and administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop policies and procedures to promote industrial and commercial business investment
  • Supervise professional and support staff to ensure effective program delivery
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment
  • Perform administrative tasks to support program delivery
  • Plan and develop projects to promote industrial and commercial business investment
  • Recruit and hire staff to support program delivery
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community
  • Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on consumer buying habits and preferences
  • Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage investment
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies
  • Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals
  • Design market research questionnaires
  • Develop a portfolio of marketing materials
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote industrial and commercial business investment
  • Ensure appropriate business licenses are in place
  • Deliver presentations at conferences and workshops
  • Develop and implement business plans

Requirements:

  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage a large workload
  • Accurate, client-focused, flexible, and organized with a strong work ethic
