Job Title: Business Development Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Phoenix Marketing Solutions Inc. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for developing policies, supervising staff, and administering programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop policies and procedures to promote business growth and development
  • Supervise professional and support staff to ensure effective program delivery
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment
  • Perform administrative tasks to support business development efforts
  • Plan and implement development projects to drive business growth
  • Recruit and hire staff to support business development initiatives
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community
  • Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on consumer buying habits and preferences
  • Develop social and economic profiles of areas to encourage investment
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies
  • Prepare reports, research papers, and educational texts
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals
  • Design market research questionnaires
  • Develop a portfolio of marketing materials
  • Develop marketing strategies to drive business growth
  • Ensure appropriate business licenses are in place
  • Deliver presentations at conferences and workshops
  • Develop and implement business plans

Requirements:

  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage a large workload
  • Accurate, client-focused, flexible, and organized with strong judgement and reliability
