Financial Planner, Investment and Retirement Planning Specialist

What is the Opportunity?
As a seasoned Investment and Retirement Planner, you will create custom investment solutions for prospective and existing clients of the Royal Bank of Canada. Leveraging your expertise and creativity, you will provide world-class advice and solutions to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals.
With a hybrid work environment, you will have the flexibility to work from home or in a branch, depending on client preferences and your own work-life balance.
Mandarin/Cantonese language skills are considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored financial planning strategies using the bank's comprehensive investment and portfolio solutions.
- Acquire and consolidate existing and new clients, growing the bank's client base and assets.
- Connect clients with the right bank team members to ensure their ongoing needs are met.
- Establish and maintain external business referral sources through networking, marketing, and partnerships.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Financial Planning Designation (PFP, QAFPTM or CFP) or close to completion.
- Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in financial planning.
- Proven networking and client acquisition skills.
- Ability to build strong partner relationships.
- Digital savviness and proficiency in mobile applications.
- Mandarin/Cantonese language skills are considered an asset.
