What is the Opportunity?

As a seasoned Investment and Retirement Planning Specialist at the Royal Bank of Canada, you will create customized investment solutions for prospective and existing clients. Leveraging your expertise and creativity, you will provide world-class advice and solutions to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

With a hybrid work environment, you will have the flexibility to work from home or in a branch, depending on client preferences and your own work-life balance. Your proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese language skills is considered an asset in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored financial planning strategies using the bank's comprehensive array of investment and portfolio solutions.
  • Acquire and consolidate existing and new clients, expanding the bank's client base and assets.
  • Connect clients with the right RBC team members to ensure seamless service and meet their evolving needs.
  • Establish and nurture external business referral sources through strategic networking, marketing, and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Hold a Financial Planning Designation (PFP, QAFPTM, or CFP) or be close to completing it.
  • Possess a Mutual Funds License (IFIC or CSC).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in financial planning.
  • Demonstrate proven networking and client acquisition skills.
  • Exhibit strong partner relationship-building abilities.
  • Be digitally savvy and proficient in utilizing mobile applications.
  • Mandarin/Cantonese language skills are considered an asset.
