Dietary Aide Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Spring Living. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position working approximately 35-40 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals to residents in accordance with their dietary needs and preferences
- Restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Keep records of food quantities used
- Portion and wrap foods as required
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Long term care experience an asset
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
- Reliability and dependability
- Positive attitude and initiative
The estimated salary for this position is $28,000 - $38,000 per year, based on 35-40 hours of work per week.
Work SettingThis role is based in a long term care center where you will be working with a team to provide excellent service to our residents.
