Lumber Yard Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lumber Yard Supervisor to join our team at Delta Cedar Saw Mill LP. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our lumber yard, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule and Coordinate Work: Plan and coordinate the work of our team members to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair of our equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Control: Monitor and control the quality of our products to ensure that they meet our high standards.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare and submit regular reports on our operations, including production levels, quality control, and any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of our inventory, including ordering and stocking of materials and supplies.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train our team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to perform their jobs effectively.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any problems that may arise during operations, including technical issues and personnel conflicts.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in a supervisory or management role in a lumber yard or similar environment is an asset.
- Physical Demands: The ability to work in a hot, noisy, and outdoors environment.
