Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards in our lumber products, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Materials Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring that our lumber yard is well-stocked and equipped.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Equipment Operation: Supervise the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient use.
  • Team Management: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our lumber yard team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring that our team is equipped to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a lumber yard or woodworking environment.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
