Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit General Labourer to join our team at Upper Canada Growers Ltd. in a seasonal capacity.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop maintenance, harvesting, and transportation. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are willing to learn and take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Operate tractors and other farm equipment
  • Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colours
  • Attention to detail
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working outdoors in a rural area, exposed to various weather conditions. The work site environment includes wet/damp, hot, and cold/refrigerated conditions.
