Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit General Labourer to join our team at Upper Canada Growers Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop maintenance, harvesting, and transportation. This is a seasonal position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Transport crops to storage facilities
  • Perform general maintenance tasks on farm equipment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in various weather conditions, including wet, hot, and cold temperatures. The work site will be located in a rural area, and the candidate will be required to travel to different locations as needed.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in agriculture or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
