Beauty Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beauty Department Manager to join our team at JRoss Recruiters. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales associates, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of department presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide effective training, supervision, and coaching to team members to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Department Operations: Maintain high standards of department presentation, ensure the department is appropriately staffed, and plan and manage daily and weekly departmental activities.
- Team Development & Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching and encourage team members to learn new retail operational processes and procedures.
- Compliance & Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with company, store, and department policies, as well as health and safety programs and regulations.
- Experience in retail sales, retail execution, and daily operations.
- Good working knowledge of department products and functions.
- Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, or managerial experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to operate a cash register (an asset).
- Results-oriented individual who thrives on achieving challenging goals.
- Ability to serve customers professionally and inspire their confidence and trust.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and coach others, providing both positive feedback and constructive criticism.
- Capable of planning, organizing, and overseeing team activities and projects to ensure timely execution.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and cope with challenging situations.
