Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Community Health Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing services in First Nations communities across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide core nursing functions and services, including community/public health, primary care, and home care.
- Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to promote health, prevent disease, and protect population health.
- Foster curative, rehabilitation, and supportive or palliative care for patients in need.
- Travel to various communities across the province to deliver high-quality nursing services.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- A valid Class 5 Driver's license.
- Knowledge of nursing processes and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
You may also have experience in:
- Public health, Home Care Nursing, or Community Health.
