Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Coordinator to join our team at CarePartners. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for preparing and transmitting weekly billing files, preparing bi-weekly payroll files, and ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and transmit weekly billing files to Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS) through HPG.
  • Prepare and send bi-weekly payroll files to the payroll department according to a predetermined schedule.
  • Enter data that affects changes to payroll, including travel and mileage.
  • Review timesheets for front-line staff for accuracy and reasonability for payroll and billing purposes.
  • Identify and correct variances in timesheet data to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Respond to inquiries from nurses, CSWs, and therapists regarding payroll issues and concerns.
  • Maintain good working relationships with operations and service purchasers, responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Use discretion when handling private and sensitive information.
  • Contribute to a healthy and safe working environment.

Requirements

The minimum qualifications for this role include completion of one to two years of post-secondary education and six months to one year of job-related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent MS Office computer software system skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the Procura scheduling and billing system is an asset.
