About Our Client

Our client is a multi-trade contractor based in Waterloo, Ontario. They specialize in projects across commercial, industrial, water, and wastewater fields.

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from initiation to completion. This includes creating and monitoring cost reports to ensure projects stay within budget, handling pricing changes in the scope of work, and negotiating with stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for managing progress billings, supplier and sub-trade payables, coordinating the purchasing of major items for projects, and developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely delivery.

Additionally, you will attend start-up, download, site, and owner meetings, monitor field production, and address any issues that may arise.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with a positive attitude
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all personnel and subtrades
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with consultants, owners, subtrades, suppliers, governing authorities, and various company departments
  • Organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants is an asset
