Billing Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Process orders and complete invoicing to meet/exceed billing targets, ensuring accurate interpretation of legal agreements and PO standards;
- Verify Revenue Recognition criteria to ensure order booking accuracy;
- Troubleshoot and resolve order management and billing issues to support cash collection targets;
- Manage internal customer inquiries on billing processes, internal controls, and policies;
- Follow internal controls and policies to protect OpenText's brand;
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring your voice is heard for process automation goals;
- Deliver on other priorities assigned to execute on the Billing delivery excellence mandate.
Requirements
- University/College education in a relevant discipline (Finance & Accounting considered an asset);
- Good working knowledge of billing systems and Microsoft products, with SAP and Sales Force knowledge an advantage;
- Good working knowledge of accounting principles;
- Working knowledge of reviewing legal agreements an asset;
- Detail-oriented, with an ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines;
- Strong oral and written communication skills to present information logically and concisely;
- Multi-lingual (Portuguese) skills considered an asset;
- Self-starter with great teamwork abilities;
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change and willingness to learn for best billing practices;
- Very strong organizational skills.
