Job Summary

The Equipment Operator - Infrastructure Maintenance will be responsible for maintaining contracted assets through the operation and use of heavy equipment, particularly during seasonal needs. This role requires a high level of safety awareness and the ability to recognize hazards in routine and non-routine tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair highway and other surfaces, including signs, guardrails, and lighting
  • Perform litter and debris removal, and add or replace reflectors
  • Set up and remove traffic control devices as required
  • Transport crew and equipment to work sites
  • Participate in emergency response rotations as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of related work experience in construction, road maintenance, or commercial/industrial repair
  • Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license and acceptable driving record

Work Environment

The Equipment Operator - Infrastructure Maintenance will work in a variety of outdoor environments, including extreme heat and cold. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
