Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Surplus Electrical Equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and minimize downtime.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and optimize productivity.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Recruit and hire staff as needed to support the growth and development of the warehouse team.
- Train workers in duties and policies to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge and support their career development.
- Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively.
- Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure that goods are delivered to customers on time and in good condition.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
- Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
