Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Surplus Electrical Equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff as needed to support the growth and development of our warehouse operations.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas such as inventory management, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support warehouse operations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
