Client Services Representative

Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to every client interaction, enhancing the overall experience within the branch.
- Serve as the primary point of contact in the branch, welcoming and engaging clients in various discussions related to advice, services, education, and digital banking.
- Utilize effective questioning techniques to identify and address client needs, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on mobile, ATM, and online banking, fostering confidence in digital banking solutions.
- Promote and explain the bank's products and services that align with client requirements, focusing on everyday banking solutions such as checking accounts, savings accounts, and credit options.
- Act as the main contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues and escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment in all shared areas of the branch, adhering to marketing and regulatory standards.
- Assist with transaction processing, both cash and non-cash, as required.
Business Contribution
- Support the achievement of business goals by identifying opportunities for client advice and referrals, driving growth.
- Advocate for the complete range of products, services, and banking capabilities.
- Understand and apply operational policies and procedures effectively.
- Contribute to operational excellence by ensuring timely and accurate completion of business processes.
- Escalate any non-standard or high-risk transactions as needed.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and reflects the intentions of clients and the business, in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Exercise due diligence to ensure the accuracy of all client transactions.
- Adhere to the Bank's Code of Conduct at all times.
Team Collaboration
- Actively participate as a team member, fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes service, quality, and collaboration.
- Enhance personal knowledge and expertise while sharing insights with team members.
- Engage in personal performance management and development, including cross-training opportunities.

Knowledge and Skills
- Possess developed knowledge and skills to provide service and advice across a variety of products and services.
- Have a broad understanding of the complete product suite and processes, characterized by moderate complexity.
- Offer recommendations and solutions to clients and internal partners.
- Address atypical client issues with effective problem-solving skills.
- Evaluate challenges based on established practices and procedures.
- Understand the integration of client services with broader team objectives.
- Impact the quality and effectiveness of services provided to clients.
- Propose enhancements to work practices and service processes to improve efficiency.
- Demonstrate full proficiency through job-related training to perform a range of activities.
- Typically report to a Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
