Key Responsibilities

As a member of our Personal Banking and Small Business Services team, you will use your knowledge of financial products and services to help clients meet their everyday banking needs. As a Client Service Representative, whether it's answering questions, helping clients complete a transaction, or proactively putting clients in touch with the right team members to meet their needs, you will provide frontline support to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. You must be able to work during bank hours, including evenings and weekends. To provide exceptional client experience, you must be able to work at different bank locations within a reasonable distance.

How to Succeed

  • Client Mobilization - Help clients manage their accounts and products. Prioritize each client's experience and ensure every interaction is meaningful. Put clients in touch with the right CIBC team members who can help them achieve their goals.

  • Problem Resolution - Listen to the client, ask questions, and put yourself in their shoes. Act as an owner by taking responsibility for clients' problems, and know when it's best to rely on others to collectively come up with a better solution.

  • Leaning into Technology - Become a technology expert. Share your knowledge by presenting clients with our mobile banking services to help them better manage their banking needs.
