As a Driver - Operations Specialist at Woodbine Entertainment, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our grounds, roads, parking lots, stable area, and buildings. This includes:
- Operating all equipment required for maintenance, including cars, trucks, farm tractors, and front-end loaders.
- Performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all related equipment.
- Conducting deliveries and pickups on and off premises.
- Responding to emergencies such as fire and water leaks as required.
- Completing work in a safe and efficient manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid class "DZ" driver's license.
- Solid knowledge of operating all equipment required for maintenance.
- General knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures and WHMIS.
- Basic verbal communication skills.
- Basic interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of 1 year driving experience in a similar environment.
- Qualification for an AGCO.
- Ability to perform shift work, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to travel to other tracks as required.
