Key Responsibilities

As a Driver - Operations Specialist at Woodbine Entertainment, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our grounds, roads, parking lots, stable area, and buildings. This includes:

  • Operating all equipment required for maintenance, including cars, trucks, farm tractors, and front-end loaders.
  • Performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all related equipment.
  • Conducting deliveries and pickups on and off premises.
  • Responding to emergencies such as fire and water leaks as required.
  • Completing work in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Specifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid class "DZ" driver's license.
  • Solid knowledge of operating all equipment required for maintenance.
  • General knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures and WHMIS.
  • Basic verbal communication skills.
  • Basic interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum of 1 year driving experience in a similar environment.
  • Qualification for an AGCO.
  • Ability to perform shift work, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Willingness to travel to other tracks as required.
