Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at T.D. Williamson. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and adhering to established quality assurance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on T.D. Williamson equipment, including cleaning, inspecting, and testing for damage or wear.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure equipment meets specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including documentation of parts used and procedures followed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of equipment and efficient use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in equipment maintenance and repair.

Requirements

  • Technical/vocational certification(s) in automation, mechanics, or electronics and three (3) years of technical experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Repair and maintenance experience of T.D. Williamson equipment required.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, including travel to the US.
  • Must have full G Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of T.D. Williamson equipment maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment such as pumps, motors, control valves, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Ability to speak English required. French as second language would be an asset.
