Job Title: Software Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Canada Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst - IT Service Delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user inquiries and provide timely and effective solutions to technical issues.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Manage incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Research and evaluate a variety of software products.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in IT service delivery.
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work arrangement.
  • 40 hours per week.
