Job Summary:

As an Office Administrative Assistant at Miles Van Rental Inc., you will play a vital role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our office operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decision-making.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, directing them to contacts or service areas, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Prepare and type correspondence, forms, and other documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and other software to create professional documents and presentations.
  • Work closely with the team to maintain a productive and organized work environment.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other software applications.

Work Environment:
  • Permanent position.
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
