About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cafe Medina. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our cafe, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Operations Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Establish work schedules
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
