About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Cafe Ami. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafe, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job duties and adhering to our high standards of quality and service.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help staff improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand, while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional service and meet our business objectives.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation, and that our customers receive exceptional service.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management to inform business decisions.
  • Scheduling and Workload Management: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that we have the right staff in place to meet customer demand, while minimizing overtime and ensuring that staff are working efficiently and effectively.
