Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Patience and understanding
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
Working Conditions:

The Personal Support Worker will work in clients' homes, which may involve traveling to different locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
