Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Long Term Care Full-Time Contract, Temporary

Hourly Wage Range: $25.82

General

A thirty (75) hour per pay period, Full-Time Contract Temporary Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Long Term Care position is being offered in the Radiant Care Tabor Manor Nursing department. The position involves providing safe and efficient personal care for residents, including all activities of daily living, to ensure optimum physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and psychological well-being.

Weekly Schedule

Week #1: Sunday 14:00-22:00, Tuesday 14:00-22:00, Wednesday 14:00-22:00, Thursday 14:00-22:00, Friday 14:00-22:00

Week #2: Monday 14:00-22:00, Tuesday 14:00-22:00, Wednesday 14:00-22:00, Friday 06:00-14:00, Saturday 06:00-14:00

Week #3: Sunday 06:00-14:00, Tuesday 06:00-14:00, Wednesday 06:00-14:00, Thursday 06:00-14:00, Friday 06:00-14:00

Week #4: Monday 06:00-14:00, Tuesday 06:00-14:00, Wednesday 06:00-14:00, Friday 14:00-22:00, Saturday 14:00-22:00

Qualifications

  • Qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, training and education in caring for seniors in long term care, demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in long term care, current CPR certification, and valid PSW certification.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

This posting has been posted within Radiant Care Manor and externally. Internal applicants will be given priority based on seniority. External candidate selection will be made based on interview.

Duties and Responsibilities

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing safe and efficient personal care for residents, effectively communicating with residents, staff, and families, providing excellent customer service, and adapting to changing needs of residents.
