About the Role

As a Home Support Worker with ParaMed, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides essential care and support services to individuals in their own homes.

Our Home Support Workers assist with daily tasks and self-care activities, promoting the independence and well-being of our clients.

With a focus on person-centered care, you will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop personalized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and support with mealtime
  • Providing companionship and support for clients
  • Assisting with basic activities of daily living
  • Traveling to clients' residences for home visits

Requirements

  • Compassion and empathy for working with vulnerable adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • High school diploma or equivalent
