Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Support Specialist to join our team at THE RHEUMATOLOGY OFFICE INC.

Job Summary: As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.

About the Role: In this role, you will work under pressure to resolve complex technical issues, maintain accurate records of problems and solutions, and collaborate with other analysts to improve our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems.
  • Research and implement solutions using user guides, technical manuals, and other resources.
  • Offer training and advice to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Maintain a comprehensive problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of software applications to improve functionality and efficiency.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Install and configure equipment for employee use, including setting up cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Perform backup and recovery operations for our web servers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Sitting is the primary physical activity associated with this role.

Personal Suitability: We seek candidates who are client-focused, proactive, organized, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently is essential.

Experience: This position requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of resolving complex technical issues and delivering excellent customer service.

Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff from diverse backgrounds.

Hours of Work: The successful candidate will work 32 hours per week in a permanent full-time capacity.
