Retail Store Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at North Nechako Foods. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales staff are assigned to their duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Authorize Payments by Cheque: Verify and process payments by cheque to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering of merchandise to meet customer demand and maintain inventory levels.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize labor costs.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and promote sales of merchandise to meet targets.
- Resolve Issues: Respond promptly to customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the organization and maintenance of inventory to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Provide guidance and support to office and volunteer staff to ensure they are able to perform their duties effectively.
