About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chef, Ethnic Cuisine Specialist to join our team at Sanjhi Rasoi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our culinary standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
