We are seeking a skilled Child Psychiatrist to join our team at Island Health in Nanaimo, BC. This is an exciting opportunity for a locum psychiatrist to work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive psychosocial rehabilitation.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide evaluation and treatment services for children and adolescents with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. As a locum psychiatrist, you will be responsible for working closely with case management clinicians, nursing, occupational therapists, rehab support, social work, and psychology teams to provide comprehensive care.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must be a licensed psychiatrist with experience in child psychiatry. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
