Job Summary

Mission Junction Sushi is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring efficient inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a food service management role
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting
