About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ruman Holdings Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate the ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.

Quality Control and Customer Service

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.

Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.

Language and Communication

English language proficiency and excellent oral communication skills.

Teamwork and Flexibility

Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
