About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our team at Trenton Collegiate Institute. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems. They will also prepare financial statements and reports, conduct field audits to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.

In addition, they will prepare income tax returns from accounting records, examine accounting records, provide financial, business, and tax advice, and oversee payroll administration. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and will be able to multitask effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. They must also have excellent knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Excel, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is accurate, efficient, and organized, with excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer free parking available on site.
