About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team in Trenton. As a key member of our audit, review, and tax engagement teams, you will be responsible for preparing working paper files, financial statements, and corporate/personal tax returns.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns;
  • Assisting in the planning, organizing, and controlling of engagements to meet deadlines;
  • Understanding client needs and requirements;

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance;
  • Current enrollment in the CPA program or intention to enroll;
  • Some work experience in accounting or public accounting (an asset);
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks;
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment;
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office;

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.

Please note that access to a vehicle is recommended, but not required. You will be expected to travel occasionally to other offices in the Quinte Region as needed. We also welcome applicants who require accommodations due to disabilities.
