Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Record Clerk to join our team at SAM SIGNS INC. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires approximately 1 year of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll: Our ideal candidate will have experience calculating fixed assets and depreciation, as well as maintaining financial records and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Financial Record Keeping: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, posting journal entries, and preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: As a Financial Record Clerk, you will also be responsible for preparing tax returns and reconciling accounts.
Requirements
  • Education: A college diploma or certificate from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required.
  • Experience: Approximately 1 year of experience in accounting and bookkeeping is necessary.
Benefits
  • Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Work Environment: This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week.
